Purposeful Connections…

Many of us have made connections as part of our process, but the time has come that we must reevaluate the link between our process and our purpose.

Start by looking at the connections in your life and answer the following questions:

1. What access has expired? This means that some of the people & experiences that have remained were not meant to remain. It’s up to you to know when there is a time to move on. How will you identify these people?

•They resist the idea of your growth.

•They don’t celebrate your gains.

•They are not forward thinking, but hear me out: Don’t blame them. Why? Because it is not and never was their responsibility to know when to leave your life. It’s yours.

2. What habits have you picked up that you need to put down? Start by doing a time audit.

Take accountability for your time, the permissions you’ve given others, and consider making some adjustments. This looks like adjusting access to YOU by you. If you keep your eyes on your purpose and focus on what you’re supposed to be doing with your time, you’ll have less energy to waste and begin to understand how valuable time is.

3. What is your purpose in the coming days, weeks, months, & year? Do not attempt to make adjustments based on emotions, reactions, or obligations. Any adjustments that are made need to be in alignment with your purpose.

In other words, do your actions equal your wants and will these strengthen your connection to your purpose?

Adjusting your permissions is not an insult or you abandoning anyone. It’s an act of self care and preservation. I’m not suggesting that you isolate unless you’re led to but part of maturing is recognizing your own limitations and allowing others to do so as well. Why? Because having access to you IS in fact a privilege. Make the appropriate adjustments.

Resist the urge to adjust because of emotions.

Resist the urge to lean AWAY from discomfort.

Resist the urge to STAY because of obligation.

Resist the urge to MOVE because of pressure.

Resist the urge to QUIT because of fatigue.

Seize the moment TODAY to make informed decisions by evaluating your connections as they relate to your purpose! There is a GREAT opportunity for development which involves wisdom, perseverance, pressure, and learning to manage your emotions so they don’t manage you.

More to come on this later!

This is so good! The things that hit me.

Thank you so much for this. I took the step this week and added a fee to me 30min calendar time. Its now a clarity call for $50. Why because my time is really valuable and everyone cannot freely access me. There has not been proper honoring of the time and im also accountable for how i handle my time.

Appreciate the confirmation and how well you gave this directive under His direction.
