Wake up 5:55. Pray. Drive 20 mins to work. Work for 10 hours. Drive 3.5 hours home. Arrive home at 11:15 pm. Simply put, I don’t know how I made it through that day! Honestly, I do! It was because God graced me for it. You know what? He graced YOU for something too. I can’t boast about this day or being able to do it because I can’t take the credit. In full transparency I wanted to rest! I wanted to go home, eat, and rest.
I couldn’t do that though. I had to make a choice about how far I would be willing to go and when! I knew that I’d be attending a funeral the next day that was 1.5 hours from my home and that I had to get my tires changed first. Honestly, I really just wanted to crawl under the covers until the week had passed. If I did that though, there would be others who would have suffered more. I wouldn’t have been there to comfort my family as we grieved someone we love. I wouldn’t have been there to do all the things I did or pray over the meal or ask God to show up through me.
So what will happen if YOU don’t show up today???
