Isn’t it interesting that we come into this world and immediately upon arrival we find ourselves trying to “fit in”? Curious though, what is it we are trying to fit in to? Most of my life I went from place to place and space to space after failing to fit in. It wasn’t until I experienced true freedom that I realized I wasn’t MADE to fit in! It wasn’t until then that I realized it took great courage to be authentically me. It wasn’t until I was in my early 30s that I truly began to understand that I was completely out of alignment with who I was created to be…& so began my journey of learning & unlearning. Much of my story is expressed through my art & is often a source of hope for others. I hope you find yourself walking in the freedom that’s yours too!
What I know is that I wasn’t created to fit in. I was created to stand out. Everything that I’ve experienced has propelled me to be who I am now. I am no longer a wallflower, unless I choose to be. I am becoming more and more who God called me to be!
